Collection includes photographs, posters, and scrapbooks from 1955 and 1957 European tours of the Portland Little Chamber Orchestra compiled by Anne and Norman Tremaine. Ann Kafoury Tremaine performed with the orchestra on both tours, accompanied by her husband, Norm Tremaine, the troupe's tour manager. Box 1 contains: Photographs of orchestra members in many venues, including the summer palace near Halsingborg, Sweden, where they played for the King and Queen of Sweden and their daughter, the Queen of Denmark in 1955. Box 2 contains: Vol. 1 Scrapbook of 1955 tour. Box 3 contains: Vol. 2 Scrapbook of 1957 tour. Oversize folder contains: 2 concert posters - Paris, France (1955 June 22) and Frankfurt, West Germany (1957 June 19 )

Conductor Boris Sirpo formed the Portland Little Chamber Orchestra in 1953 as an international touring ensemble affiliated with the Portland Chamber Orchestra.
